EQC Welding Helmet - Shade 10

Use state of the art electronic welding helmets in your shop class to give your students exposure to the type of welding gear being used in industry today! Electronic Quick Change welding helmets help reduce fatigue and increase productivity. When an arc is struck, the electronic filter lens darkens in 1/25,000 of a second. Available in a fixed shade 10 and a variable shade which you can set between a shade 9-12. Helmet cartridge uses two standard AAA batteries which also features an automatic shutoff to help prolong battery life. Viewing area is 3.75" x 1.16". Black helmet. Meets ANSI standards for impact and IR/UV protection.
